The Theory of Everything is the story of the most brilliant and famous physicist of our time, Stephen Hawking and Jane Wilde arts student who fell in love while studying at Cambridge in the 1960s.

Little was expected of Stephen Hawking, a brilliant but lazy student of cosmology, given only two years to live after being diagnosed with a fatal at 21 years old disease. He became galvanized, however, for the love of his fellow student of Cambridge, Jane Wilde, and he became known as Einstein's successor, as well as a husband and father of three children. Throughout their marriage as the body of Stephen collapsed and academic reputation soared, the flaws were exposed that tested the guidelines of their relationship and dramatically altered the course of both their lives.
